The Kaimai®™ Rifle Suppressors website contains ample information to allow you to make an informed choice about our products. Please note that weights and dimensions may be approximate only. Weights of individual suppressors may vary slightly due to thread selection or other factors.
PLEASE CHOOSE YOUR ITEMS CAREFULLY WHEN ORDERING. We are under no legal obligation to accept returns or provide refunds for any item simply because you subsequently changed your mind, or made an error in ordering (such as thread size, etc.)
We accept that sometimes you might find that a product ordered is not quite what you had expected, or won’t fit your rifle for some reason. Mistakes can happen. We will therefore accept returns (only by prior agreement via email), for a period of up to 30 days from date of dispatch/delivery. The item must have its packaging intact and be in a saleable UN-FIRED and UN-USED condition. You must return this to us at your cost. If an item arrived faulty or damaged (either in transit or out of the box) we will move quickly to replace it as soon as we are notified. PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ITEMS AS SOON AS YOU HAVE RECEIVED THEM. Kaimai®™ must be notified of any transit damage within 5 days of receipt of the shipment.
If you wish to exchange an item (i.e. a ‘Carbine’ model in place of a ‘Long Rifle’ model) in a common size, we will replace it providing any price difference and actual freight costs are paid by the customer, and as long as the returned item is un-fitted and un-fired. Returns with a request for refund, will (after passing inspection) be charged a 15% restocking fee as well as the original freight charge. The remaining credit amount will be refunded to your nominated bank account.
Important note about thread sizes
The female threads of all of our suppressors are single-point threaded to industry standard dimensions. Take note that if you are ordering one of our suppressors to be installed onto a barrel that has already been threaded to fit another brand of suppressor, that there is no guarantee on behalf of Kaimai®™ that the thread fit and alignment will be correct for your rifle, even though the nominated thread may be the correct one. With the huge variation in thread tolerances from various manufacturers and gunsmiths, we have no idea of the specifics (or alignment) of individual (male) threaded barrels. Acknowledging this, we recommend that all of our suppressors should be fitted and checked on your rifle by a qualified/reputable gunsmith, and if in any doubt a new muzzle-thread should be machined on the barrel to suit. If you want to have a suppressor made specifically to match and fit to an existing threaded barrel, then this must be arranged through our local approved gunsmith/fitting agent: D.F. Faulty, Damaged or Defective Products
Every product sold carries an assurance of high quality and durability, however on extremely rare occasions sometimes thing can go wrong.
- If your delivery gets damaged on its way to you, we will replace it for you.
- If your purchase is not quite working as it should, we will repair or replace it for you (at our discretion, providing there is no suspected or evidenced misuse or neglect.)
- If you have a product to return you need to email us first. The more information we have the faster we can manage it. Please include your order number.
- Please read our WARRANTY page in the Support section of this website. By accepting these terms and conditions you are also confirming that you have read the warranty page contents and agree to abide by the necessary conditions.
For damaged or faulty returns please provide as much information as possible in an email to us so we can fix the problem as quickly as possible for you.
When we can’t accept returns
We cannot offer a replacement or refund in obvious cases of misuse, alteration or mishandling of the product. Special-order (or less-popular) thread size/calibre combination are not normally returnable, as these items would have been made specifically to meet your request.
Cancellation of order
We will process all orders on the basis that they were confirmed with payment having been received by Kaimai®™. If you wish to cancel an order (before or after making payment) please do so via email as soon as possible. Once an order is dispatched from our facility it is considered ‘delivered’ and cancellations after this point will still carry the shipping fee, and/or a restocking fee if returned to us.
Pricing
Kaimai®™ Manufacturing reserves the right to change current product pricing without notice. All product prices are inclusive of GST.
Shipping and Delivery
‘In stock’ items will (in most cases) be shipped next business day after receipt of payment. The usual lead time for our made-to-order centerfire suppressors is 1-2 weeks. If your order is likely to take any longer than this for some reason, then we will notify you by email. You will have the right to cancel your order at this time if you wish, and receive a full refund if payment has already been made.
Your order is important to us and making sure it is dispatched and arrives within estimated timeframes is what we strive for. However, despite our best efforts delays may still occur. If you are on a very short time frame please notify us of this at the time of ordering.
We use tracked courier wherever possible, and your nominated delivery address should ideally be an urban area physical address where someone can sign for the package. For Rural Delivery (RD) or P.O. Box-addressed deliveries we will use NZ Post – which could take up to 5 days. Courier is usually 1-2 days for North Island delivery, and 1-3 days for South Island. We will advise you of the tracking number when your order has been dispatched.
*Current flat-rate shipping fee is $10.00 for all orders (large or small) as at October 2014.
